2019 Writer Award in Poetry

The content of the priority post letter I received on January 3rd from New York may finally be revealed.
In the last couple of years, excerpts from my new, still unpublished, collection have appeared on magazines and journals such as “3:AM Magazine”, “Jahrbuch Der Lyrik 2019”, “Raum”, “Sand – Berlin’s English Literary Journal”, “Stadtsprachen Magazin”, “Trafika Europe”, “Magma”; they have been published in the tiny chapbook Office of the woods by Zoetic Press; they have been featured by “Yes Poetry” within the Poet of the month dedicated page in December.
Now, two more texts written in Berlin (and about Berlin) have been awarded the “2019 Writer Award in Poetry” by “The Nassau Review” and will appear in the winner’s section of the 2019 issue, which is supposed to be out in May.
This is the first time I have been awarded a prize abroad, a prize without even knowing I had been selected and shortlisted for.
Such a strange and joyous feeling!
